After being targeted twice in two days, a Melbourne business was severely destroyed

Arson assaults on a business in Melbourne’s south-east resulted in substantial damage after it was targeted twice in two days.
The firm, which is located on Huntingdale Road in Oakleigh, was originally targeted around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday when a glass was shattered and an accelerant was attempted but failed to ignite.
According to authorities, the second incident happened about 7:20 a.m. the next day when a stolen black Holden Barina was reversed into the front of the shop.

The Barina was then set on fire, causing extensive damage to the structure.
During the event, no one was hurt.
On CCTV, an offender wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark shoes ran from the fire to a getaway car, which police suspect is a black Subaru Forester with unique black rims.

The automobile may have stolen registration plates TRB556, according to police.
Between last Friday and Tuesday, they are looking into whether the same automobile was involved in thefts in Berwick, Oakleigh, Nunawading, Frankston, and Seaford.
CCTV footage and photos of a car and a guy who police want to talk to as part of the inquiry have been published.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or submit a tip online.
